The APRIL Team
GIVE EVERYTHING WHEN IT MATTERS
APRIL has always wanted to change the image of insurance by embarking into new territories.
With Team APRIL, we bring these commitments to life by supporting athletes who are pushing boundaries in their respective fields and who reflect our values.
Johann Zarco and APRIL Moto share a spirit of performance, making it an obvious partnership
Since May 2018, APRIL Moto has been partnering with Johann, a French motorcycle rider, who is currently competing in the two-wheeled premier class of MotoGP.
Double Moto2 World Champion in 2015 and 2016, he claimed his first Grand Prix podium position at the 2017 French Grand Prix in Le Mans. Sixth in the overall standings in 2018, Johann secured the trophy for the best independent rider.
After several seasons, notably with the Pramac team, the main satellite team of Ducati, Johann won his first Grand Prix in Australia in 2023. At the start of the 2024 season, he joined the CASTROL Honda LCR team. APRIL also announced the extension of their partnership with him for the next two years.
APRIL Moto wanted to build this relationship of trust around the concept of “let’s give our best” with a common value: the spirit of competition. This drives Johann and the APRIL Moto teams every day to give their best: the former to push himself and win races, and the latter to maintain the trust and loyalty of their customers.
